This traditional hot chocolate is made exclusively for Hernán in Chiapas, México and is made of ground organic cacao beans from a bio-diversified plantation in the Mayan region. They continue the Mayan tradition of cultivating cacao in harmony with the environment. To prepare the traditional way, use a clay pot like the Ceramic Chocolate Pot by Hernán and Molinillo (see instructions in basket). These bolitas (little balls) of chocolate also make for a convenient way to add Mexican hot chocolate to your coffee. They come in a hand woven palm leaf basket in your choice of fuchsia, natural, or teal/blue/natural.
