This Olla de Barro is hand made exclusively for Hernán by artisans in México. The redware clay makes for a traditionally functional pot that is also a beautiful addition to any kitchen. The design coordinates perfectly with our Molinillo, an essential chocolate prep tool. Instructions are included on how to make Mexican hot chocolate using the olla and molinillo. The pot can also be used to heat soups or make tea, is safe to use over direct flame and is lead free. Be sure to read the instructions on how to cure the olla before initial use.
