Made from recycled glass, these traditional veladora mezcal cups were originally used to hold votive candles in Catholic churches. Each one is marked with a cross at the bottom of the glass as a reminder of the history of this cup, popular for sipping mezcal. It is the preferred glass for mezcal connoisseurs as its shape allows for the aromas to present themselves without overwhelming the senses. The soft ridges of the rim also make for a pleasant drinking experience. Of course, they still make for beautiful tea light candle holders.
