This traditional hot chocolate is made exclusively for Hernán in Chiapas, México and is made of ground organic cacao beans from a bio-diversified plantation in the Mayan region. They continue the Mayan tradition of cultivating cacao in harmony with the environment. To prepare the traditional way, use a clay pot like the Ceramic Chocolate Pot by Hernán and Molinillo (see instructions in basket). These calaveras (skulls) of chocolate are made especially for Día de Los Muertos. They come in a hand woven palm leaf basket in your choice of fuchsia, mango, or turquoise.
